Short Stories Coming Soon!

In addition to novel and manga updates, Members will also have access to short stories (they will probably be  more like novellas since Raythe cannot write anything short!).  Some of them will be tales that are attached to the main novels, but are not explored in the books and others will be simple standalones.

A few of ones that are being written right now are:

Price for Passage: A Kin Universe/Seren Balthasar Story (yaoi, scifi, blood-play, mystery):  Meet private detective Seren Balthasar.  Cast in the mold of Sherlock Holmes and Aloysius Pendergast, Seren is as much a detective of the past as the future.  Add in a lot of yaoi spice and some alien vampires and you get Price for Passage, the first of many stories to come with this character.

Seren has been hired by the wealthy and handsome Jason Kane to find his younger brother, Chase.  The naive teenager had disappeared after seeking passage to the fabled planet of Black Heart aboard a Kin vessel known as  The Stryke.  In order to save Chase, Seren must discover the dark underbelly of Kin and human society where everything is for sale in exchange for blood and sex.  Will the price for Chase's life require a similar sacrifice from Seren?

The Artifact: Ghost (yaoi, underage, pre-Artifact fic): Paul Campos was Sean Harding's high school coach and mentor.  The older man was transfixed by Sean's seventeen-year-old beauty and athletic grace.  The teenage Sean eerily reminds Paul of his first lover who died tragically in a car accident fifteen-years earlier.  Sean seems equally as drawn to Paul, but he strives to keep a distance between them until Sean comes into his office late one night with a black eye and a blacker attitude.  Sean needs someone to stop him from doing something dangerous and stupid.  Will Paul be that one or will he have them embark on something far more dangerous? 

The Erl-King: The Hunt (yaoi, non-consensual, violence, bestiality): Discover how Jordan Frasier became Alric Koenig's devoted servant.  Learn some darker truths about Alric and the dread Erl-King.

Burn: Never Leave My Side (yaoi, horror, mystery): Follow the tragic romance of Richard Delamere and Xavier King, the fathers of the protagonists in Burn.  Find out how their love led to unforeseen consequences.  

Choose Your Own Adventure: Remember those books where you'd be given a choice at the end of every chapter (go through the door or down the stairs) and which way you chose would lead to very different outcomes?  Such a story is being contemplated here.  Members will be able to vote on which path a character takes at the end of every chapter and find out the following month what their choices lead to.
