Jack Corbyn can sense evil.  His Sixth Sense for it is called paranormal by his partner. His superiors are suspicious of his abilities, but know he can get the most difficult jobs done when others can't get even a foothold. He lives for his job to bring the guilty to justice and protect the innocent. Only when he met Rowan Winter did he abandon his duties and appeared ready to throw it all away to be by Rowan's side. Instead, he thought to save Rowan and ended their relationship.  But meeting Rowan ten years later, he fears he has made the wrong choice.
